In the build up to the start of “Going the Extra Mile” journey, interviews will be arranged with newspapers, magazines and TV programs. We want all South Africans to be aware of the initiative to raise funds for the less fortunate and those affected by crime.

We will plead for the support of 4000 South Africans to donate R1000 each and all people to make any contribution towards this cause. We want people to challenge each other to contribute to this worthy cause. We want every Radio station and Newspaper of each Province to get involved, and will use these interviews to acknowledge your possible donation as well.

 

As we travel around the perimeter we want where possible to tell our story on Radio, at Churches and schools, community halls and any other venue that can be arranged. An ongoing FB, Twitter and Instagram page will be set up to keep all informed about our progress towards our goal and the journey where the necessary credit will also be given to you should you decide to get on board.

Any body willing can use our project as a excellent marketing tool as this event will enjoy a lot of media coverage.

We have received a donation of a ring worth R75 000 and an 9ct gold chain worth R14 500.

 

The first 4000 people to donate R500 each, will stand a chance to win the ring in a draw at the end of our cycle tour.

Any other donation received, irrespective of the amount, will qualify for the draw of the 9ct gold chain worth  R14 500, at the end of our tour.  (T's and C's apply).
